JO540 Multimedia Journalism

New Media Tools for Journalism

This week we are going to use some of the things we learned in class and produce a story or two.
Search the blogs and twitter for trending topics. Decide on a story.

Produce it and send it up to a bunch of video hosting sites including iReport.

Think about how to title and describe it for most reach.

Then publicize it using blogs and twitter...
Share your thoughts in the comments...

We had a great class.

Here's one of the videos we made:

Do You Know What Twitter Is? - College 101 - A Response from Boston University

For this one we used a MacBook Pro, QuickTime Pro and uploaded to YouTube. To publicize it we twittered out hte link and added it as a video response to the original YouTube video we were responding to.

Nice job Travis.
